Title: Non numbers matching cars

Posting your non numbers matching engine,
transmission or 3rd member codes?
Maybe I have your motor or you have my transmission ?
Not a classified add as they are not allowed .

Yea me too!
Seems most of what I’ve seen on orphans is
stuff for sale on eBay or craigslist , etc .

Post by: hrlyfxdl on October 12, 2018, 10:21:16 PM: Yeah, there are a few guys on here that scour those sites finding engine blocks, trannys, etc. that have numbers in the hopes of notifying someone who may have the original car. I've seen some guys post too that they have a certain block or transmission available in the hopes that they could match it up to the original car. Definitely a nice pursuit. I posted a message on an engine block I own in case someone ever searched the numbers and found it on here.

I have a spare '68 MO Z block/engine that I tried to find the car to match, doesn't seem to exist that I can see. But the chase remains a lot of fun !

There have been several "reunions" over the years like THIS ONE (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=13818.0;all)!
