Thanks to NCRS I have found that my recently
Purchased 68 RS/SS convertable was delivered to Robke Chevrolet in Covington , Ky
Looking for any one who knows anything about them ?
From Web searches , it appears the dealership permanently closed about 6 yrs ago ?
Any and all info is greatly appreciated , as I try to trace the steps Of the life of my New found Gem!!

That was in my neck of the woods. Northern Ky. in the Greater Cincinnati area. One of my buddies was good friends with the parts manager. I’ll be seeing him tomorrow...hope I can remember to ask him. What is it that you would like to know?

Dealer Advertisement stuff from
way back then.
Did it just close down, or is it under new ownership?
Would anybody keep or have old records from them ?

Robkes’s was at 3rd and Madison in Covington, Ky. That was right across the river from Cincinnati. Later, in the 90’s it moved to the location where it closed, like you knew, about 6 years ago. Now, Wyler Kia (I believe what I was told) is at that location. Several of the employees scattered to other dealers, of which my buddy could elaborate as he knows a lot of guys in the auto business. From what I have been told, no old records exist.

In the mean time an internet search
produced a phone number of a realtor
Lady , a Robke, I left her a message then the next day
I get a phone call from Bud Robke, the 4 generation
Owner of the dealership , who closed it amidst the GM
Bankruptcy !!
sadly Mr. Robke said that every 7yrs they disposed
Of all sales records 😢
That’s ok I guess!!! Any result is better than never knowing
