I have new/NOS deluxe comfortweave bucket seat bottoms and a rear seat Comfortweave panel insert that I need installed. Anybody have a recommendation for a local shop?
I am in North San Dieg County,

I had some boat upholstery done years ago by Mark Luhr (Mark Luhr's Custom Upholstery) in El Cajon. He did great work. He's been around since the 70's street scene days (as have I ;) ), and has a good reputation.
My $.02 worth...

MFortie, I'll check them out, not too far from me.

Let us know what you come up with. I need to get some work done too. And I work in El Cajon. Thanks

I've had work done here and never been dissatisfied.

I've used Jim's Auto Upholstery in Kearny Mesa quite a few times for my Chevelle and other cars. They do a lot of classic cars. Good reputation. But as with any vendor, just be very clear on expectations.

Thanks Hans, I will check them out too.

I ended up finding a local upholstery shop called Blind Squirrel upholstery in Oceanside California that did my work. Mike Stratton is the owner and I would recommend him for any upholstery work.

Cool. Good to know of another place in town.
