Title: Later 69 trunk bumpers
Post by: x66 714 on September 21, 2018, 12:35:39 PM
Do the later 69 trunk lid bumpers have a number cast into them? Can't find a good picture. Thank you, Joe

There are some #'s on but do not remember what they are. I placed a picture of an original on this thread post #100 but one cannot see the top very well. As you noted what was used in 69's or at least in later builds differed from 67/68's.

I need to find a couple of them but want to make sure what
I'm looking for. I've seen "NOS" that look like repops. Thanks, Joe

Joe, sent you a PM but you probably know for example your 68 spring car used a totally different bumper that is more pronounced round and thicker. Not sure when in the 69 model year they changed to the smaller height more doomed type.

Yes. I do know the 68 is different. I think I have extras of those. Never saw any of the 69 type in my collection but I'll look this weekend. Thank you, Joe
