Title: 1967 Camaro Number matching
Post by: Osidemuscle on September 20, 2018, 02:20:50 AM
Hey guys, I would like to start by saying awesome site and I’m impressed with how knowledgeable you guys are. I have a question. I bought a 1967 Camaro. Seller said it’s number matching, but from what I’ve been reading, they didn’t stamp the vins on the small motors in early 1967. How can I confirm it’s number matching?  Vin #124377N204867
 Transmission numbers  391936, 3858986, 3858403. I also see a 0217

3877652 gm2 intake manifold

Engine deck # V032ima (on the front of the engine, by intake manifold)
Engine numbers 3892657 (on the right side of the engine)
944 657 75n (back of the engine by the oil filter)

 Rear end 3894859nf

Im trying to post the cowl tag, but it keeps saying file is not allowed, I’m posting through my iPhone. If you need any more pics let me know.

Thanks in advance

Need at least the cowl tag month and week code. Might be 04A.

Dates line up good. I would say engine is original to the car. :)
