Is the little plastic harness support that pushes into the bottom of the alternator bracket originally white or black from the factory. The little support that is taped to the wiring harness. Thanks! Sam

Sam,
To my knowledge, and based on my original harness as well as those I have seen on survivor 69 Camaros, they are black.

Mine are dark brown (at the alternator bracket and at the fender ledge).

Thanks Dave and John. So far I guess I can assume they are dark in color. Sam

I have an original owner (me) 69 ss 396 and they are both brown. Does anyone know where to get these plastic pieces? I don't want to replace original with a new harness and only need to replace the one that ties to the fender. I have the correct wrap. Used harnesses always have the pieces broken from old age (like me).
Thanks

The only ones I've seen are white. They are included with the 69 camaro dash clock harness, but you have to order the whole harness. About $15.00. Does anyone know if white is one of the correct colors?

I just checked my '68 Z/28 (I know you guys are talking about '69s) and mine is white too. Actually, it has faded to a slight yellow color over time. It snaps into a hole on the rear housing of the alternator.
