"A Dynacorn body will be your best bet for this build.  You will save $ on the body work you would expect from starting w/ an original 69' builder.  Also the vin plate and title will allow you to build a REAL 69 SS CAMARO because without a title & matching vin plate any Dynacorn body is just a big piece of metal..."

High side of ridiculous. Add a $13K Dynacorn body, $10K drivetrain, and you still don't have an original car. If I had $30K to spend on a Camaro, I bet I could find a good original car to sink that money in and have some left to boot.

I'm surprised the dash is still intact. I've seen cars from the rust belt that even dissolved the dash far enough back to take out the VIN area.

Regards,
Steve

Most of the value is in the Art Morrison frame.

Nothing there that proves it’s an SS car but we will log the VIN.

Yup - that claim was of no interest, especially since the car's too early to have an x-code that *could* back up the suggestion. In fact, seller makes no reference to having a trim tag as part of the deal  ::)

Relisted with a stating bid of $500:

Removed reference to 'SS', now masking full VIN.

"This listing is for a 1969 Camaro Vin Plate & Clear title for sale at NO RESERVE!
It is to be used for a 69 Camaro project where a Dynacorn body will be needed or a 69 project in need of a title & vin plate.
I will cut the vin plate from the dash and ship it out for free or if you would like the complete dash you can pick it up in person or pay for the freight"

I invite everyone to REPORT (https://ocswf.ebay.com/rti/compose?items=273363180206&seller=phatkicks2000) the auction to ebay. Selling a VIN and/or Title is against the law and ebay rules.

Ed I've lost count of how many times I've reported this type of listing, it seems to have little or no effect and even if the auction is pulled before the scheduled end time, the seller just relists (as in this example) with a slightly different description. Ebay doesn't seem to get tough and consider banning members who continue the behavior.
In this example, could it be reported to the Ohio DMV?

I don't think one person reporting it is enough. I think it has to be multiple people before they'll do anything. Exactly how many is unknown.

As for reporting it, there's no contact information in the listing other than "Contact the Seller" so what could they do? I highly doubt they'll take the time to look up the VIN, contact the police and arrest the guy. But you could give it a shot.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold.

He messed up by just listing the VIN tag and the title.  It was reported multiple times.  Not sure if it was taken down or if it was really sold.
