Post by: Ted on July 12, 2018, 08:28:36 AM
Hi Everyone

New to the forum. Can you help me out with verifying if this motor is original to the car.

Pics to follow.

Many thanks

Ted

Most likely yes.  Low horse v8's in 67 did not get vin stamps but the date range vs the build date etc line up.

My rs car has a build date of 12C and the stamped engine code is V1202MF and is verified on the POP. My VIN is 124377L130240 so it is definitely a good chance it is original to your car.

Cheers James. It's definitely a cool colour. A previous owner painted it madeira (?) maroon. If I ever repaint it, I will go back to the original colour.

Mountain Green with deluxe black, we could start our own club.
