Title: Cowl tag missing
Post by: Jballew on July 01, 2018, 02:00:57 PM
Hey guys thanks for the ad . New to the group but not new to Camaros . I am having an issue I've never had before . I recently purchased a 67 project . The car came with clear tittle and a good vin . Although the cowl tag is missing . My question is is there anyone who does research through the vin to see original build . And also I have no intention to make this car something it's not.  If it was a base model so be it I'm just curious . Thanks in advance . Norwood V8 car vin #124377N208210

What rear axle does it have? Disc brakes? Any signs of it being a big block car?

Trim tag might be gone for a reason.

It was 10 bolt drum brake . But now has 12 bolt . Does have an original gm rs ss hood and headlights but I haven't checked vin on the hood yet

No VIN on the hood. But there might be a stamping to indicate the week on the driver’s side, rear corner, outside edge.
