Title: Charlotte Autofair
Post by: lakeholme on March 12, 2018, 01:47:26 PM
Spring Charlotte Autofair, April 5 - 8 2018.  I'll be out front in the show field tent every day.  Around a dozen HP Camaros and Chevelles signed up so far for the show on Saturday the 7th.  Pretty good vendor registration, etc.

Yes!  Snow in the North always slows up both vendor and car registrations.  Show deadline is this Friday.  At any rate, Speedway says they are ready!

Phillip,

Do they JUDGE non-original (ie. custom) Camaros and Chevelles at the Charlotte show??  My son in law has a '70 SS 454 Chevelle (but now with LSA engine/4L80 trans)... He'd like the show I think...

Not in the Spring. It is a national meet.
The Fall show basically anything goes at the regional meet.

So the Spring show is a PURELY AACA event, and the Fall show includes other car organizations?

Thanks for the information Phillip!  :)   I need to make one of those shows this year...

Just so we are clear: I'm only talking about the AACA shows that the Hornets Nest Region puts on in the Fanfair area out front. There will be around 25 other clubs that show, including the local Camaro Club, in the Spring and Fall.  In the Fall the HNR show is for anyone, yes.

Vendors items mailed last week. Looks like we've sold most of our 9000 spaces.
Meet items for owners and judges mailed today.
