Title: Rocker color / Body Sill color on a British Green 1968 RS / SS 350 Camaro
Post by: Nigel on February 19, 2018, 01:48:17 PM
Dear Sirs, I have read a number of posts regarding certain exterior colors being an exception to the rocker blackout and I have had a look at the "Body Sill Color Exceptions" table on the website however I cannot find any mention of whether the rocker color (body sill color) on a 1968 British Green RS / SS 350 would be body color on black.

My car currently has body color painted rockers however it has had a respray in the past, before I purchased it.

The car is due to be resprayed in March and I really want to make sure I get the rockers right and I would be grateful if someone can clarify the color for me.

Best regards, Nigel

I'm pretty sure they should be black. British green isn't on that chart...Joe

Rockers on the darker color painted cars are the ones that didn't get the black rockers....   BRG is a pretty dark color....

I have a Fathom Green car that had body colored rockers.  No blackout on this car.

Thanks for your responses, I thought the car would have body colored rockers as it is a dark green however I just wanted to make sure before the car went to paint. Best regards.
