Title: "Flint #1" sticker on 1968 L48 valve cover??
Post by: ThinkSS on February 17, 2018, 06:28:21 PM
Hello all... trying to get my engine bay correct....  i have a numbers matching L48 68' SS. I'm seeing a Flint #1 sticker online... some say its correct others say only on painted 69' L48 covers, im thinking none at all on the 68' chrome covers..

Is this a some had it others didn't argument? Or am i just seeing more incorrectly represented items for sale?

Thank you all in advance

I have seen the Flint #1 sticker on the front of the passenger side valve cover on '67s. I don't recall seeing it on a '68, but maybe others have.
