Title: Looking to contact Jon Mello or any '67 Z28 owners
Post by: Steve1968LS2 on February 05, 2007, 11:56:45 PM
Hello,

I am working on a story on the anniversary/birth of the Z28 Camaro for Popular Hot Rodding Magazine. As such I am looking to get ahold of Jon Mello since I know he has a '67 Z28.

We are based in Southern California and would like to photograph one for the story. Any help would be appreciated. We are also looking for any vintage Trans-Am photos showing '67s in action.

Thanks,
Steven Rupp

Have two here in Eldersburg, MD.  One race car and an all original 13,000 mile survivor including original paint, interior and NOS 7.35x15" tires w/ full docs.

Also of special note, Dave & Ben Wenzel still own their 1967 Z28 which was bought new and won the 1967 NHRA US Nationals.  Ben and Dave Wenzel are still racng this car in NHRA Stock Eliminator.  They are still making history with this car and plan to run it in 2007.  This one is a true piece of motorsport's history.
