Title: Resizer for photos
Post by: dannystarr on February 01, 2018, 07:03:41 PM
Can someone post the actual link to the "Light Image Resizer" that has been discussed here. I went to Google and there was 20 different ones. Thanx... Danny

This should do it....

(I liked it so well, that I ended up purchasing it - which isn't subject to the limitations of the free one...)

If you use Windows, Microsoft's 'Paint' program works good.

I never thought of using " PAINT " option. It works good. I punched 25 in the box and listed the items on a site and they were good in size. Problem is, if you THEN try to email those same pictures, the are baby size. I wonder if you can go back? Mike, What is the max number you use to list pictures on THIS site and have them clear, and still be large enough in size to see?.. Danny

You can e-mail photos to yourself for downsizing. Other sites do not require downsizing and uploading photos is a snap.

Hi Danny,

I typically use 800 x 600 pixels (resize --> pixels) for images with lots of details. If the picture doesn't contain a lot of details (has mostly the same background), then it will compress more (smaller file size) and then I can use 1000 pixels horizontal to meet CRG's file size limit.

I use this app called reduce photo size with my phone and it works great. You select size and save and good to go

If you use an IPhone when it says size, small, actual size, ect. does that reduce the photo to CRG,s standards?
