For future searches, the VIN is 124379N695328 and the body number is NOR134829

Terrible If you look at the bidders (37 bids so far), you get a better than average sense of a shill bidder involved as the first 20 or so bids are by a bidder with no auctions to his/her credit. There are a few legitimate bidders involved, but they should know better. Still quite a few members of the Society of the Awfully Poor Souls (SAPS) unaware of faked Camaros, eh ? Code 10 rounds them up every time -

Regards,
Steve

How about that extremely rare cruise control for a 69 Z. I think that is "one of ??" The only other one I have seen is that matching numbers Z with factory air.

It has migrated to the Hemmings site.

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/chevrolet/camaro/2066450.html?refer=alert

Some puffery from the ad:

VERY RARE 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO RS Z28, TUXEDO BLACK, MATCHING NUMBER DZ 302 X33 CAR.

CORRECT NUMBERS MATCHING. THE CODES ON THE COWL TAG ARE CORRECT. THE NUMBERS ON THE ENGINE AND TRANNY MATCH THE VIN #

THIS WAS VERIFYED FROM STEVE LINDEN. WWW.STEVELINDEN.COM

Butcher job on the rear seat partition. No bottom bar for it. The package tray fold over is terrible. With that VIN on the oil filter and tranny there should be  D80 on the trim tag and the antennae on the front fender.

Pics are crappy, maybe on purpose.

Personally, I wouldn’t give the car another look and just move on.

I’m no expert but the engine VIN stamps looks way too clear compared to mine & others I’ve seen.

As said, you won't get any info on faking a tag, just read and compare good tags from experts with fake tags from experts.

For this price, I would expect washers hooked up, and the missing 'Limited Slip' decal on trunk lid.
No spare tire?
Aren't those '67 Rally center caps?
No, Z/28's did not come with CRUISE.
Wouldn't she have a black grille?

Silver grill is correct on a black RS.
