Title: julian Date
Post by: cfar on February 05, 2007, 05:30:13 PM
How do you figure julian dates?
Is it every day  or do weekends not count?

So
157 would be 157th day in 1967 calander year
and that would be
June 6th 1967  ??? if all days count

Start with January 1st (day 1) and go to December 31st (day 365 or 366 with Leap years)

Correct on your example.

1967 Julian Calendar (http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/custom.html?year=1967&country=1&cols=2&hol=25&moon=on&doy=on)

1968 Julian Calendar (http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/custom.html?year=1968&country=1&cols=2&hol=25&moon=on&doy=on)

1969 Julian Calendar (http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/custom.html?year=1969&country=1&cols=2&hol=25&moon=on&doy=on)

It's probably going to be moved to a more obvious location soon, but at the top of this page is a Julian calculator.
