I have a clip/retainer that I believe comes form my door and may be part of the locking mechanism. Does anyone know where this installs on the vehicle. It is one of only a couple of parts I did not document during the disassembly.

I should have given more info. 1967 Camaro L78 with standard interior.

I have three 67s here, and have had numerous 67s and that clip was not on any of them. Including cars that have never been disassembled.

Doesn’t look familiar to me. Can you post it with something else for size reference? Like a quarter coin or a ruler?

It looks like some kind of door panel retaining clip similar to THESE (https://www.ebay.com/itm/17-VINTAGE-GM-ORIGINAL-DOOR-PANEL-RETAINERS-CLIPS-CORVETTE-CAMARO-60-S-70-S/263424481853?hash=item3d55529a3d:g:QQQAAOSw7ThUcddI&vxp=mtr), but I don't think the Camaro used that exact kind of clip.

Here's a couple pics of a similar clip used to hold the wire harness to the dash frame (if I can get these pics to post - this is my old '66 El Camino).
Maybe '67 Camaro's used the same type of retainer?

It was a radio antenna cable clip. It goes under the dash below the glove box to hold the antenna cable. After I discovered what it was, I went and looked under my dash and sure enough there was a second clip. I found a pic of a 67 GM NOS radio antenna with all its parts. Two clips were in that pic. That's why I went and looked for the second one.
