Last I checked the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon, cranks out 808 HP on 91 pump gas, and 840 HP on 100 octane.
Does this new power plant (755 HP) beat the Challenger Hellcat version, sure it is only at 707 HP. ;D
So while that is a nice step up from Chevrolet, I would say the Dodge Challenger is the current "King of the hill".
(While we are not talking about flying cars, I never thought i would see the horsepower wars come back and be in the 700-900 HP range.
Makes you wonder what production car will be made with 1000+ HP? ) That 1000 HP threshold has gotta happen right? :o

I dont think we will see it. Next gen Corvette is suppose to FINALLy be mid engine with a 4.XL & 5.5L OHC twin turbo engines making 800 plus hp. We will see.
