He says in the the description "60's, yenko, race", just curious what cars this was used on? Mostly trans am type tracks and cars?
Also were the inlet and outlet suppose to go to an oil cooler mounted by the radiator? did it ever go through a filter, or since they were one race motors was it unnecessary?

It would be meant for use on any car that was wanting to use an engine oil cooler. This would be a race car or something that was prone to seeing higher heat due to hard use or very hot weather. Typically, yes there should and would be a remotely mounted oil filter between the adapter and the oil cooler.
