I located a 69 Large Journal 302 010 Block that is standard bore, but will possible need to be bored because of improper storage. It also comes with the original 1178 crank. The VIN is there but is hard to make out / unreadable and appears to be N_485.....The engine pad is VO508DZ and was casted on D 29 9 (April 29 1969)

One block I had I couldn't read the vin. I tried all kind of different ideas. One idea worked. I took a flash picture with my digital camera in an almost dark room. The flash cast shadows & allowed me to see the vin...Joe
