Title: Oil sender line for console gauge
Post by: rod396 on August 30, 2017, 08:17:19 PM
In 68, with the console gauge package, was the line originally copper or plastic?
Thank you.

Neither. It was nylon.

And black nylon too, I believe for 68 (67 was clear).

Not the original owner, but my 11B LOS has black nylon that I would be surprised if not original.  Bought it unrestored back in the mid 1980s.

Pete, it's a '67? My 05B NOR is clear (I should say "was" before I changed it due to cracking but replaced it with clear again) and I have an earlier 67 NOR line that used the brass firewall mounted bulkhead still with the clear line attached. Hmmm...maybe LOS used a different supplier (that's if your car is a 67).
