Title: 1969 4 row curved neck radiator
Post by: x66 714 on August 28, 2017, 04:22:06 PM
Is there somewhere I can get the factory specs on this radiator core. Like how many rows, fins per inch. I might need to replace the core & it doesn't have the original core now. I don't want to order a wrong core. Thank you, Joe

This might be enough to give you what you need.

I looked at that chart in the past to make sure my tanks were correct. What I don't understand is .16 on fins. All the radiator shops go by fins per inch here. Thank you, Joe

.16 (4/25) is approx 6 per inch. It's not exact (.96"), but probably close enough.

Not sure how that spec was determined but according to that chart my 68 z/28 & the 69 ss396 should have the same fin count. My z/28 still has it's original & it's approx. 12 fins per inch. Thanks for the help, Joe

That's straight from GM documentation, fwiw.
