Well guys I saw this story abut a classic car dealer in Illinois that burned down, with 150 cars inside. I decided to look through his inventory online, to see if there was any notable or any historic cars in there.
Well I did find this 68 Camaro. ( I think the fire may have done this car a favor) :-X
Here is his site:

and here is the story on the fire:

Looks like a old style junkyard now. :-\

I know the old saying is "that beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but man that thing is ugly! Just my opinion of course. :D
-
That was a mercy killing!

I think someone, maybe Bentley, posted that car on the yenko site in the eBay area. Horrible
-
I used to say " I've never met a first gen I didn't love", I lied ......that things hideous.
-
Ugh!!
That one was lost long before the fire :-\

I concur with all the other comments here as well, the auto world got a bit poorer even before the fire. So sad, rip baby, I'll be thinking of you every time I drive mine. :-*

With all that extra flaring, that car deserved a cowl hood.
-
Fugly comes to mind.
-
I think he needed side vents and the cowl hood also!

PURESS, I love the quote at the bottom of that CL ad :"A lot of people donot even know what kind of car it is."
made me laugh. Is that a selling point, if people don't know what kind of car you started with?
-
??? selling point for sure :-\ :D
