Title: 68 firewall paint marks

What were some common paint marks on a L30/M35 LA car?
My firewall  appears to have had a AA on it???
It is very faded and hard to see except in right light and angle.

The firewall markings are difficult to see because they were applied before the black firewall paint.  The AA would be the paint code.
