Title: BB Convertible
Post by: feastersss on July 07, 2017, 10:58:58 PM
I just completed a full restoration on my '68 BB Convertible RS/SS L35, TH400, I was wondering if anyone would know how many of this particular convertible was produced.  I've only had the car out 2 times since finishing it, and have had several people say it is a rare car....It has been in my wife's family since '72 & was parked in '81 until 2011.

There were 20,440 1968 Camaro converts built. The only breakdown by engine provided by Chevrolet was 6 cylinder [3,513] and 8 cylinder [16,927]. Chevy built 10,773 1968 Camaros with the L34 engine; 5.2% of 8 cylinder production.

Your car is certainly low production but no idea how many were built.
