This was in my 69 camaro trunk with the j hook and wingnut when I bought the car. I've never seen any pictures showing this as original equipment nor in the AIM, so I'm looking for help. And while I have your attention, is this an original wingnut - It has the initials LO on the bottom. Thanks!
-
I don't know about original, but the wing nut is for the spare tire hold down and the J hook goes in the loop in trunk. The other thing looks like a valve cover washer.

Forgot I have a 69 AIM. Page 136 & 410.

might be for the rear brakes where the springs anchor? looks somewhat familliar. might not be for Camaro?
-
Agree - looks like for the rear brakes hanger
-
Thanks I'll check it out.

Here's my 69 rear brake set up. The part in the pic is similar, but not the same.
-
Yeah its not the same, question is still open. Thanks!
-
Sure looks like a valve cover washer? reinforcement? for a small block.
-
Maybe this will help, something to give it scale.

Disgusting, someone intermarried parts of a Ford with a car (Chevy). :o
-
Thanks! I guess I'll stop using it as a jhook spare tire hold-down washer, which is where I found it. No wonder I didn't win that last show...
