Title: Z10 car on ebay
Post by: Rufcar on May 31, 2017, 09:16:36 PM
I saw this today. It appears correct but will take much to take it back to original. Otherwise nice project car.

I hate it when they've been tubbed, :-[  but I guess about anything is fixable.

I'm still learning about authenticating the 69s, as that is what I'm in search of.  Anyway, when I compare these two.

The one in this thread:
N637582 712 NOR315920 05A

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevrolet-Camaro-Hardtop-Pace-Car-/162510444132?hash=item25d6609664:g:fn4AAOSwaeRZEmTK&vxp=mtr
N6321XX 729 NOR315663 04C

I have to ask.  If there were only 257 cars built by NOR from one car to the next, does that mean there were only 257 Camaros built from 04C to 05A?
That also amounts to almost 5,400 vin#s according to the info on these two cars.

A third car, the one with the hardtop and Z11 tag that was "wrong":
N594443 720 NOR312825 04C (in this case 3200 cars in a week??)

Is there a database of Z10 avail?

Are there any differences between a Z10 and other RS/SS 's other than the paint color combination?

Nope.

The car in question still has zero bids. Apparently everyone on the site has heard the famous collector car adage "It will take sixty to make it worth fifty."

Yes, in addition to the Z22 Rally Sport and Z27 Super Sport options, other required options for the Z10 package were D80 spoilers, ZJ7 rally wheels, and ZL2 special ducted hood.

Clarifying, any SS-RS coupe could have those options and often did. Z10 was only different striping on a Dover white car.

It looks like you are counting cars via body #'s. Can't do that. http://www.camaros.org/bodynumbering.shtml#69

No.

Never completely trust a car description on eBay.

Good reading at this link.
