Hey guys, so I am swapping out replacement parts for original items, some from other members, some I had already, and a few Gems from the web. I had a extra Eaton fan clutch, and found and original fan for my car, but now I can't seem to figure out what the original style bolts would be to mount the fan/clutch assembly to the water pump.
So if any of you 69 Small block guys (with a fan clutch) out there has a original bolt and can snap a pic for me I would appreciate it.
This is for a early 69Z with 302 block, if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.

I thought you said that this car had a 350 in it A.? Should not make any difference though. Does it have now have a 302 block in it or did it have, all along, that you did not realize this when you got it several weeks ago?

Well I am just thinking positive Bentley. (no 302 yet). I just got the correct water pump from Darrell, but as you said it doesn't matter, any SBC water pump should have fine threads I would think. I am not in front of my red car to pop a bolt out. ( I assume it is a bolt, and not threaded shank with a nut.)

Austin, are these the bolts you are referring to? Although I can't be 100% positive that they are the original factory correct bolts I feel pretty confident that they are. I removed my water pump and fan clutch because they had been replaced many years ago but the deep grove pulley and 772 fan were still there. I just soaked these in evaporust for a couple of days. Hope this helps.

I tried to get a picture of mine and think these look like what I remember. Washer and all

Very nice. About 1" of thread it looks like?

Actually about 7/8" of thread, total bolt length is right at 1 1/8"
