Being an eternal optimist by trade, maybe they just changed the tag to allow for the orange houndstooth interior ? That is the brightest HO paint I have ever seen, just jumps out of the pic and blinds you.
At least they didn't claim matching numbers. Shame it's suspect because of the tag, shore is purdy -

Well maybe so but any repro tag with X33 on it calls the car into question. Also, that's early for a coupe with an orange interior.
