Paul, how do you know that is the partial? I would like to see a pic of the stamping, and maybe I missed it, but I did not see one in the listing.

Bryon, the pics in the listing show the partial VIN stamped twice on the top of the transmission. These pictures are all at a distance so I emailed the seller...
Question: "What's the number stamped on top of the transmission? Is it 18L327327? Thanks!"
Answer: "Close, it's 18L327627. Thanks, Keith"

That's fine but in order for my to feel confident enough to consider adding it to the database, I need to see it. I asked him for a pic.

OK, no problem. I could see from the photos that the partial VIN is stamped in the same two places as the original Muncie in my '68 Z28. I could make out all of the digits of the partial VIN clearly except for the third from the last digit. I wrote it down in my notes as either a 3,5 or 6. That's why I asked the seller the above question and guessed 18L327327. :)

Now that I downloaded the pics and enlarged them, its a bit easier to see.
