I've googled and searched,. What size speaker is the factory front speaker, I've seen several different size replacements,. Also provide recommendations, my car is factory ac. Any information is appreciated

The front speaker is 4" x 10". Factory speaker resistance is 10 ohms. If using your original GM radio, make sure your replacement speaker is 10 ohms. If using current model radios, a 4 ohm speaker will be needed. The factory A/C cars use a smaller speaker thickness, usually resulting in a shallower depth magnet which equals less power handling capabilities.

I don't see a separate speaker listed for A/C cars in the AIM under UPCs C60 or the U series. Where did you see a thinner speaker was used?

I should have been a little more specific. Thanks for pointing that out. The factory speakers were the same for A/C or non A/C cars (10 ohm). The AFTERMARKET replacement speakers (4 ohm) have much larger magnets to handle today's much more powerful radios. The AFTERMARKET a/c speakers (also 4 ohm) have smaller magnets as to not physically interfere with the a/c control unit, making them less able to handle as much power.

Ok awesome, thank you, my stereo is not factory, but I only currently have the two rear 6x9s. Just wanted to get replacement but didn't know which size to get, other than it needs to be for ac car
