Anyone know what that intake is?

Manifold looks like the "Smoke Ram" from the 70's? A single 4 barrel version of the cross ram developed by Smokey Yunick, if my memory is correct. Guess it wasn't a huge success, as it's long gone.
Heads are pre 69, as there are no accessory mounting holes drilled and tapped for Alternator mounting bracket, etc.

Hey, that is our hood!
Great that Washington is SO Green now, making lots of Parts available.
Heading to the Corvette & High performance swap meet tomorrow, I will keep an eye out for this item in the stalls.

That car still exists, though I don't know the current owner.

This car is now for sale on BaT. Would be great to reunite with the block! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-chevrolet-camaro-z-28-27/ (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-chevrolet-camaro-z-28-27/)
This would be a fun one to bring back to factory spec.

BAT listed a problem with the auction - reported an issue about the car being damaged on a two post storage lift, subsequently withdrawn from the auction. Bid was near $44K at the point of withdrawal from bidding. Makes you wonder if the engine caught up with the car ?

Interesting Timing isn't it.

Almost sounds like the "reserve" kicked in - last day of the auction. Hope it wasn't the case either way.

It was pulled in the last half hour of the auction. Hopefully the car is ok and reappears for sale soon.
