Title: Windshield washer bottle
Post by: mrdetails on January 17, 2007, 05:04:30 PM
Hello: Could someone please post a photo of the windshield washer bottle location on a 1969 standard (non rs). Or the section that shows it in the assembly manual. I can't seem to find it. Thank you in advance.
Sam

'69 RS is on the passenger side - toward the front, also utilzies a different bracket holder for the bottle.  Attached pic is the '69 RS application, which is different for non-RS.  I don't have the information with me, but as I recall, for non-RS applications in '69, the windshield washer bottle is on the driver's side.  If you have a copy of the '69 Assembly Manual, it will show the standard location in the front part of the manual, and the RS location in the back section under RPO Z22.

If you are in need of the correct bracket for the non-RS application, I believe I have one in my pieces and parts.

Thank's guy's...I tried to find it in the AIM...I'll try again tonignt. A photo of a non rs car would help, most of the pictures in mag's,ect. don't show it as their taken from an angle to best show the engine.

It's in UPC 1, Sheet A4 - the bracket attaches to the radiator support, driver's side, with three self-tapping hex-head screws.

I know your asking for a 69 location, but on my 68...it is on the left front engine area.
