Here is a case of a collector car salesman being ordered to pay $110,000 for misrepresentation of a collector car ('GTO)... Maybe spreading such news will help to alleviate some of this in our hobby...

Sounds like there's "more to the story."  If Duncan bought 97 cars from Smith he should have known Smith was a crook, maybe both f them?

It is a buyer beware time. I need proof not words to pay the difference. I am helping with a day 2 68 SS big block built. With the knowledge and parts available I think this car would fool Jerry. Although if sold it will be told that it was a base car it may show up after a few owners as the real deal.  The 69 vert I had years ago came with the pop and docs back to 71. I had 6 or 7 months before I really studied all the docs. Found that most all of it was fake.
