Title: 1967 302Z block and crank

I looked at this block and crank today in effort to buy it. Still working the deal, but is this car in the data base?  V0320MO.  N243673.

Not sure if it's in the DB, but if it's a Z, the VIN would be 124377N243673

Thanks Ed, he doesn't have any info on the car but that vin is stamped on the block deck and looks original. I'm pretty sure that we are going to close the deal on this but if the original car is out there it would be great to reunite them.

That works date wise for a 67 Z my friend has.  But VIN is well after his 194XXX VIN.   3D build date on the trim tag

Well it is officially mine now and still sports the original 6764 crank. Not sure if it is still standard but will continue the investigation tomorrow. The block still appears to have the standard 4" bore but my machine shop will have to verify that and mag for cracks before I get to much more excited by it. A question I have is that the main cap bolts only have one set with windage tray studs. Can anyone point me in the right direction for factory correct bolts, windage tray and oil pan?

The original '67 302 oil pan is unique and probably an impossible find. You might be able to fabricate your own using a stock 1967 327 oil pan and modifying the inside. Below are pics of a legitimate '67 302 Z-28 oil pan.

Great picks Jon! I appreciate you posting them and yeah I understand that finding that pan is going to be harder than finding the block was but persistence........ you never know . I do have a couple of the early 327 pans and I may have a sheet metal guy try to duplicate the baffles based off of your pictures. Thanks again for your help.
