Title: rear bump stop bracket finish
Post by: janobyte on October 24, 2016, 12:03:15 AM
Maybe tired, can't find the color for the rear bump stop bracket in my references. Semi gloss?

Can you further clarify exactly which part you are referencing?   Does 'rear' refer to the differential bump stop? or ??
PS.  My car is a '69, and '68's may be different, but the differential stop bracket on my car seems to be attached permanently to the floor reinforcement and was primed/painted when the floor was done.. ie.. so mine has a mix of primers (not much color overspray in that area)...  If this is what you want to see, and my '69 would help, I can post a pix...

Differential. IMO, semi gloss with gray phosphate fasteners would break it up nice. Floor pans finally painted as of yesterday, along with rear wheel well undercoating.

Semi gloss black and yes phosphate bolts. I was not sure of which part you were referring to also. :)

Thanks.  Wrapping up the firewall this weekend, as my hold off valve should be coming back from Brake boosters. I rebuilt the diff valve(very easy). Also want to get the core support and front wheel wells in primer. Will be posting some progress pics in a few days.
