Post by: jim28607 on October 06, 2016, 01:41:27 AM
Found a couple NOS washer  fluid bottles on e bay for my 96 rs/ss non ac BB Car.

Is part #3840083 the correct one for mine?

Thanks

That's the one Jim. Used on all 1969 Camaros (and a bazillion other cars and trucks from 1963 to the early 1970's!)

So popular, it's STILL AVAILABLE FROM GM (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/3840083) for around ten bucks!!

Yeah, I went down to my local Chevrolet dealer about 2 years ago and he actually had one in stock!!! At that time I think I paid around $15, so you might want to see what your local dealer has.

However, no offense to gmpartsdirect, they have GREAT prices, but they sure make up for it on shipping!!! When I put one in my cart and entered my zip code, the shipping was over DOUBLE what the jar price was!
