Found out my neighbor has an original '69 base Camaro with a 350 ci 250 hp engine. Bought it in 1970. One repaint Wanted to share this. It could use some TLC.

Very cool!!
Love the whitewalls.

I bought a 69 vert like that in the 90,s with factory air and other options. Owner history to 71 and protecto plate. Months later decoded the plate. 6 cylinder straight drive. Found the 71 owner, he said he bought a wreck in the early 80,s and transferred it all.
It was not an SS or anything special. Who would have thought.

Forgot to mention that he has the original POP and other paperwork.

It is what so many of the originals were - a 'sporty' driver. Good looks, clean, but not a hipo car.
Nice.
