Title: Hershey?
Post by: lakeholme on September 27, 2016, 08:21:19 PM
Who is going?
Who is selling?
Who is buying?
Who is showing?
Who is judging?
The Chevy/Olds HP class is shaping up to be one of the largest point judged classes with several Camaros and Chevelles.

Right now, the weather forecast looks good... But you never know about Hershey.

Well Phil, RIGHT now it is misting. Supposed to rain tomorrow. Maybe it will get this out of it's system? See you soon. Don't forget the homemade pit pie dinner with DESSERTS Thursday evening at the red brick church in Union Deposit, $10 all you can eat. You can almost see it from the Giant Center looking north east. Cross the bridge on rt. 39 and turn left on Canal St, go to MAIN st.

BTW, Phil, if you are bringing a trailer they are parking in the yellow field again. If you'd rather not get stuck in mud I know a place to park your trailer 1 1/2 miles from the show field.

Maroman,
Hope that new hip is doing well!
No trailer... Too far to drive or tow a car for a repeat chip.
I presume I'll be the Team Captain for 36B (but won't know until Judges Breakfast), so another reason not to bring my 68.
Stuff I'm bringing will fit in a book box....
Not looking to buy much. Got to make some room in the garage first.
Maybe we will actually see each other this year. I'll swing by your class before judging starts.
I have to rub elbows with the Big Dogs Thursday night over at the Lodge. Always promoting Spring Meet and Autofair.

Beautiful weather all week until five minutes before judging started. Rain band from Matthew caught up with us.

The weather Sat. could have been much worse. It seemed as though most everyone was still on the field, 1200 registered. Sorry I missed you Phil. This was my most hectic Hershey ever, but my most successful buying parts. Did you see the ''38 Packard with the liftoff roof? Only one built, had electric cylinders to lift it about 4 inches then it lifted off like a Corvette hardtop. And the aluminum head 396 '69 Camaro looked great.

I liked the Yenko myself. The owner and his wife took it drag racing on their honeymoon!
Was the black Dodge Brothers listed DNJ yours?
Missed the Packard. Sounds interesting.

My coupe is actually blue, looks black. It was sitting beside a DB woodie. Of all the people crying about how Hershey is changing I think this was my best, and worst. We had two couples here at the house, one had never been to Hershey. Had maybe 6 or 7 car trailers, a motorhome, and various trucks and cars here for the week, people coming and going ALL week plus I host our club dinner on Friday night. I will hopefully get some sleep tonight. But I was able to buy some VERY hard to find parts , would be the equivalent of a NOS crossram. Can't wait until next year!
