Anyone heading East? I found a fuel line for my car 8). Need to figure out how to get it here :-\. I am in no hurry, but would like to have a plan together soon. I realize that it can be bent in half, but my metallurgy experience tells me not to disturb molecules on old metal because fatigue resistance is weakened. I also know some have used Greyhound. I would like to explore 1st the relay transport from members though. PM if you can help or have a plan. Thanks CRG.

I sold a set of my magnesium TA race wheels to the fella from Ohio who bought the 'old TA car'; he contracted with one of these 'transporter' fellas to pick them up here and deliver them to him, since I was hesitant to ship them in 4 boxes via std shippers... I don't know what they charge for something like that, but it's another option if you aren't in a hurry and can find one 'going your way'... :) and your fuel line wouldn't take up much space...

...or weigh much, either Gary. Thanks for the help. Appreciated. I found a rust free original 3/8 fuel line for my 69. Below shows just how brutal Ohio is on cars, lol. From a car I am parting out

Bentley, I pm'ed you the transporter's contact info, but he told me he only works *east* of the MIssissippi River.. so no west coast trips...

Why wouldn't you just buy a stainless one & be done no rust ever ..

where abouts is the fuel line Bentley?

Sorry. I should have posted that I was able to get the part delivered. It came from Arizona. So, to answer your question, Bullitt65, the fuel line is now hanging in my shop. It is a real nice rust free production line installed piece. This is the line from the tank to the pump. The price was right, and I needed one, so I got it.

Glad you got it already. Just wanted to see how close or far from me it was.... :)
(sorry I never saw the original post sooner)
