Title: door Jamb embossment
Post by: 67conv6cyl on September 11, 2016, 07:47:21 PM
would anybody know what month the factory changed the rear quarter door jamb embossment in a production 67 from the telephone shape to the two part embossment (which looks like a 68's without the vent). I have heard that the late 67's were different. All the quarter panels that I have seen even the old NOS ones have later style shape.  Dose anybody reproduce the first design?

I can tell you my 10C LOS has the first design telephone style and they are original as I've owned since Sept. of 1976. No sign of any quarter replacement.

my 04A nor car and my 02B los car has the jambs as well, I have never seen any new GM or reproduction 67 full quarters that have that embossment. were they ever made?
