How would you ID an original JL8 axle shaft? Thanks, Joe

The axle shaft flange has two holes 180º apart for adjustment of the parking brake mechanism.

Thank you. My friend just got a housing & he thinks the rest of the components are there also. He's digging. It's not to over the counter housing..Joe
