Title: Starter solenoid repair

My original 1114356 solenoid has a broken wire under the black cap going to the big stud. Is this repairable?

It's staked in place IIRC...could you re-attach it similarly? I wonder if solder would hold but it would be possible to solder since it's copper wire and a copper lug.
