Title: 67 RS Parking Light routing
Post by: SMoon67 on June 27, 2016, 01:31:27 AM
I checked the AIM but it's not clear at all.  It shows the wires from the parking lights being routed through a hole in the inner fender that I'll need to drill out.  Can anyone tell me exactly where this hole should be drilled?  Pictures would be very helpful.  Thanks.

Check the sheetmetal for a dimple. Not sure if 67 is the same location as 69 but expect it is in the neighborhood but will wait for clarification before posting pics. The hole is only wide enough for the harness connector to pass through and the grommet plugs the hole.

Yes there is a dimple in the inner fender.  If need be I can get a pic of roughly where it is.

I happen to have my inner fender on a hook drying from a coat of epoxy so it was easy to take measurements.
The dimple should be approximately 5 1/2" in from the flat front edge of the inner fender. The large hole measures out to 0.910"

That's what I needed to know.  Thanks a lot.    :)
