Listing description...
"Here is a used 1969 Camaro Z28 DZ 302 engine . This is not made up restamp like many of them are out there . This was part of an estate of muscle car parts I bought out a short while back .I sorted out all the parts and put everything I had for it with this lot . None of these parts have been checked other than a normal visual check that I do looking for obvious damage which I couldnt find any signs of .
All parts will require reconditioning or maching as required .
The block is stamped V0515DZ , #010 casting . Bored +.030 . The vin back by the oil filter is very hard to read , but as best I can read it is as follows . 9N35203 . Thats all the more of it I can see .
The heads must have been replaced at one time . They are the correct #186
, 2.02 heads but the dates are off a bit . E219 & I159 .
Intake manifold #472 looks unmolested
Carburetor #4053 / 902 is correct , but the date is off .
#1178 crankshaft ,
Correct harmonic balancer & timing chain cover
10-1/2" flywheel
8 Connecting rods & +.030 pistons
I do not have any of the other parts for this engine . All sold as is ."

Looks like the makings for a 'nearly' complete 302 engine.. BUT... someone tore it down for a reason...? I would wonder what the reason was.. :)

Partial VIN makes no sense. There should be a 6 after the N. I would want to see better pics before I spent a dime on the block.

For the money sought, one would think that the seller could afford a lighting device, camera lessons and the ability to see. Even my old eyes , with as bad as the pictures are, see a build date as the 14th and not as claimed by seller, 15th? I could see other numbers, but frankly, why should I waste time looking if the seller dosen't care?

I think the VIN would be N65203X which would line up nicely with an 0514 build date.
