Title: Rally Sport X Code
Post by: cruizin69 on April 06, 2016, 04:16:08 PM
What would be the X code on a Rally Sport without SS or Z/28?
Just a plain Rally Sport.

X-11 (IF it was built after the second week of December, 1968, AND it's a Norwood car)

More info HERE (http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#XnnCodes).

Thanks ,I am trying to locate a friend's brother's car and I don't have much info on it except for the colour interior and that it was a 1969 Rally Sport.
What engine would be offered in the car, it was a V8?

Rally Sport (RPO Z22) was an exterior "dress up" option and available on any car so it could have been an L6 or a V8. Do you happen to know the VIN?

early cars you could still get the 327, I think around the December they switched to the 307 as the base model V8 (probably in the CRG reports). This shows the motors available, and the percentages:

No I don't have the vin number.
I have asked the 2nd owner for the vin and they will keep a look out for it.
I don't know how else to find the vin number.
I do know what the dealer name is and were the dealer was located and that it was a V8 car.
I don't know if it was a late 1968 or a 1969 production.
