That block has been around a bit. I think it's a restamp, IMO.

I believe this is the same block discussed. Here is a picture of pad for records. Could someone post up on the site the picture? I am unable.

No, these are different blocks. The other is stamped T0823JH. This is T0809JJ.
Could this be the real block? Be nice to confirm the VIN.....

I contacted the seller and will report back if I find out anything.

Edit:   Seller says the third digit from the end is not legible on the block with partial ending in 72.

FYI I believe this to be Buddy Hill from TN.  But I could be wrong.  I would stay away and wouldn't trust the stamp.


Also the link Bentley posted was of the JJ block.  Ebay is reusing/redirecting links on auctions when they are closed.
