Title: 1967-1969 Camaro Original Trunklid Value?
Post by: RobF on December 19, 2006, 01:28:41 PM
Can anyone tell me what the going rate might be for a first gen trunklid - original, exc condition (no rust in the seams, no filler) with spoiler holes???

I have checked ebay/hemmings and have not found anything comparable to use as a guide.

Thanks for any help offered.

I'm not sure on value, but I think there are differences between the different years.  Others will chime in on this.

With real nice pinch welds and no bondo I would say around $150.00-$200.00 for a 69 unit.

Limit that to 68 -69... The original 67 design did not have factory-installed spoiler provisions:

There were three different deck lids used in 1967, another updated version used for 1968 and three for 1969 models (the 68 deck lid carries over to early 1969 models).  Find out which one you have and that will help you sell it.  I have seen nice ones sell in the $300 price range......and much less too.  Have bought them at swap meets in the summer of 2006 for as low as $20.00.
