Sometimes there are questions that if you try to Google you will never end up with a definitive answer, so I have come to the definitive source to get the answer.
I have always thought that all 1968 Camaro RS grilles and stripes looked like this (except for the SS badge):

And the 67 Camaro SS grilles and stripes looked like this (minus SS badge):

I believe that any deviation from this was just a mismatched and incorrect addition or restoration. I believed that all 68s had horizontal chrome strips on the RS grille and a front stripe that stopped at the belt line and continued toward the rear of the car and all 67s had the solid black-mesh RS grill with a stripe that wrapped around the entire front end. However, I have seen such an enormous amount of mismatched options I'm now beginning to wonder what was factory correct or if there were different options I was unavailable of.
