Title: 67 QK axel with N code?
Post by: ccargo on December 02, 2006, 07:28:12 PM
I'm trying to decode a 1967 QK posi axel with some anomolies. This is how the code reads QK 0302 N1 with no E on the second line for the posi application. My questions are, how does the N code translate against the Chevy gear and axel code of G normally found? Is it unusual to find the absence of a posi designation such as E, Eaton or D, Dana?

I've never seen an "N" before, but I have seen posi rear ends without the posi designator.
